Wedding Photographer and Videographer in White Plains, NY
Hotel ballrooms, banquet halls and family celebrations in White Plains and central Westchester, covered by our photo and film team.
White Plains is the county seat of Westchester and its busiest downtown, with hotels, ballrooms and banquet halls a short drive from Scarsdale, Harrison and Purchase. It is a practical choice for large weddings and for families with guests flying in, and it is where many central Westchester celebrations come together. We photograph and film weddings and events here from our studio in New York.
Ballroom and hotel weddings
Hotel ballrooms suit big guest lists and long nights, and they bring their own rhythm: a cocktail hour in one room while the main room is turned, a grand entrance, a timed dinner service and a packed dance floor. We work with your planner and the banquet manager so that coverage follows that rhythm, and we photograph the room before the doors open, when the flowers, the stage and the table settings are untouched. Indoor light in ballrooms varies a lot, so we bring our own lighting and set it up before the first entrance.
Multi-day celebrations
A White Plains hotel often hosts more than one event of a wedding weekend: a Sangeet in one ballroom on Friday, the ceremony and reception on Saturday and a brunch on Sunday. Staying in one building helps the team move quickly between getting-ready rooms and events. Where a Haldi or Mehndi happens at a family home nearby, we plan the travel between them.
Portraits nearby
For portraits outside the hotel, central Westchester has parks, lakes and open lawns within a short drive, including the grand plaza below the Kensico Dam in Valhalla. We plan a portrait stop into your timeline if you want one, or keep portraits on site if the day is tight.
Events as well as weddings
White Plains is also a center for corporate events, galas and milestone birthdays. See event photography for how we cover them.
