Luxury Wedding Photography and Videography in New York and New Jersey
Photo and film for large, formal and multi-day weddings across NY and NJ, with a team sized to the day and heirloom albums at the end.
A large wedding asks more of a photography team than a small one. More events, more family, more rooms, more outfit changes, and a higher standard for every frame that ends up in your album. Verma Photography is a luxury wedding photographer and videographer for New York and New Jersey, working from our studio in New York, with full-time photographers, videographers and editors on staff.
Luxury, for us, is not a look. It is the level of care around the work: enough people to cover every part of the day, a plan built with you and your planner, and finished photographs, films and albums that hold up for decades.
What luxury wedding photography means with us
A team sized to the wedding
One photographer cannot be with the bride, the groom and the ballroom at the same time. We staff photographers and videographers for the shape of your day, so both getting-ready rooms, the ceremony and the room details are covered as they happen.Photo and film from one company
Our photographers and videographers plan together and work together on the day, so they share the light and the best angles instead of competing for them.Every event, not only the main one
We cover multi-day weddings that mix Indian and American events, from a Haldi or Mehndi through the ceremony and reception. One of our couples had a four-day wedding.Heirloom albums and prints
Albums and canvas prints are designed with you from the finished edit, so the best of the day lives somewhere other than a phone.Aerial coverage where it is allowed
Drone photo and video shows the estate, the waterfront or the scale of a Baraat in a way the ground cannot.

Luxury wedding videography
A film is often the part of the wedding couples return to most. We offer wedding videography from a highlight film to longer edits of the full ceremony and speeches, and same-day edits: a short film cut during the wedding and screened for your guests the same night. You can watch our films on the films page.
For a large wedding we plan the film with the photography, not as an add-on. Videographers know when the photographer needs a clear line to the couple, and photographers know where the camera for the vows will stand.

Discreet coverage in formal rooms
Ballrooms, estates and hotel venues have their own rhythm: a cocktail hour in one space while the main room is turned, a grand entrance, a timed dinner service. We work with your planner and the venue coordinator so that coverage follows that rhythm. The team dresses to match a formal event, moves quietly during toasts and ceremonies, and keeps equipment out of guests’ way.
We also photograph the room before it fills. Flowers, the stage or mandap, the table settings and the lighting design are a large part of what a luxury wedding is, and they are only perfect for a few minutes.
Luxury Indian weddings
A luxury Indian wedding is often the most complex day a photography team will work: several events, several outfits, a Baraat in the driveway, and a ceremony that needs a team who knows what comes next. Our Indian wedding photography, South Indian and Sikh and Punjabi pages cover the rituals in detail. On a large wedding we split the team across simultaneous events, so a Mehndi and a family puja in two rooms are both covered.
How planning works
We start with a call about the size and shape of your celebration, then build coverage around it: how many events, how many people on our team at each, and which films and albums you want at the end. Packages can be customized with extra hours, albums and prints. Closer to the date we confirm the timeline with you and your planner, along with a family list for the portraits.
Send us your date and we will tell you whether it is open.
Where we work
We photograph luxury weddings across New York and New Jersey: Long Island estates and the Hamptons, ballrooms and hotels in New York City, Westchester and the Hudson Valley, and banquet venues across New Jersey. We also travel for destination weddings.

Who is in the room, and why
A team sized to the day, not a single photographer stretched thin.
On a large wedding the work happens in several places at once. While one photographer is with the bride and her mother, another is with the groom and his brothers, and a videographer is filming the ballroom before the doors open.
We decide the size of the team with you, event by event, so nothing important happens without one of us there.
Where a larger budget actually goes
More people on the day
Extra photographers and videographers so getting ready, the ceremony and the details are covered as they happen.
A same-day edit
A short film cut during the wedding and screened for your guests that night.
Aerial coverage
Drone photo and film of the venue, the grounds and the Baraat, where the venue and the rules allow.
Every event
Coverage of the Haldi, Mehndi, Sangeet and rehearsal dinner, not only the wedding day.
Heirloom albums
Albums designed with you from the finished edit, made to be handed down.
Canvas prints
The photographs you love most, printed large for your home or your parents’ home.
Wedding films that follow every event
