An engagement teaser in Manhattan
Zeel and Paras’s engagement teaser moves across Manhattan, from the steps of the Met to a slice of pizza at Joe’s. It is a short film built from a single engagement session, made to be shared before the wedding.
Planning a city session
A Manhattan engagement session works best as a route rather than a single spot: a few places within walking distance, chosen for how they look and for what they mean to the couple. Famous steps and avenues give the film its sense of place; a favorite pizza counter or coffee shop gives it personality. We plan the route with you, allow time between stops and pick a time of day that keeps the light soft and the crowds manageable.
Outfits and timing
Most couples bring two looks to a city session, one more formal and one relaxed. We plan the change for a spot where there is somewhere to change, and schedule the most famous locations for early in the session, before crowds build up.
Filming in public places
On busy streets and steps, a small crew moves faster and draws less attention. We shoot between passers-by, use the movement of the city in the background and keep the couple relaxed by giving them something to do, such as walking, talking or sharing a snack, rather than holding poses.
