Event Photographer in New York City
Corporate events, galas, birthdays, sweet 16s and anniversaries photographed across New York City, with coverage planned around your run of show.
New York runs on events: product launches in Midtown, conferences in hotel ballrooms, galas, office parties, milestone birthdays, sweet 16s and anniversary dinners. As an event photographer in NYC, we cover both corporate and personal events across the five boroughs, with the same full-time team that photographs our weddings.
Corporate events
Corporate event photography in New York City has a clear job: give your marketing, communications and leadership teams images they can use. That means clean shots of speakers on stage, wide shots that show attendance and the room, sponsor and brand placements, candid networking, and portraits of key guests. We work from your run of show, agree a shot list with your organizer in advance, and stay unobtrusive during sessions.
Hotel ballrooms, conference centers and office spaces each bring their own conditions. Stage lighting and projection screens make speaker photography a balancing act, so we choose positions where the speaker and their slides both read well. In offices with low ceilings and mixed lighting, we use flash carefully so images look natural. Many NYC venues have set load-in times and security check-in, and we plan arrival around them.
Fast turnaround for teams
Corporate clients often need a small set of images quickly for social posts or internal updates, with the full gallery to follow. Tell us what you need and when, and we will plan the day’s coverage around it. Packages can be customized with extra hours and additional coverage.
Headshots at your event
A conference or team offsite is a good moment to add a headshot station, so attendees or staff leave with an updated profile photo. See headshots and portraits in New York City.
Birthdays, sweet 16s and anniversaries
Personal events in New York are just as varied. A sweet 16 in a Queens banquet hall with a grand entrance and choreographed dances. A 50th birthday in a Manhattan restaurant private room. A 25th anniversary dinner where the couple renew their vows in front of their children. A first birthday with the whole extended family. We plan these the way we plan weddings: the key moments, the family groupings that matter and the details you spent months choosing.
Many South Asian families in Queens, Brooklyn and Long Island also host large milestone events, from a baby’s naming ceremony to a parent’s 60th, and we are comfortable with the rituals, music and family structure those bring.
Venues across the city
We photograph events in hotel ballrooms and conference centers in Midtown and downtown Manhattan, rooftops and lofts in Brooklyn and Long Island City, banquet halls in Queens and on Staten Island, and restaurants, galleries and offices across the city. From our studio we reach the city by car or the Long Island Rail Road, and plan for traffic and parking ahead of every booking.
Video coverage
For a conference recap, a gala highlight film or a sweet 16 video, our videographers can work alongside the photographer so both are covered by one team. See our NYC film team for how we approach sound and lighting in busy rooms.

How a sweet 16 night often unfolds
Every family does it differently, but many follow this shape.
- 01
Getting ready
Hair, makeup and the dress, often with friends and family at home or in a hotel room. - 02
Grand entrance
The birthday girl’s entrance into the hall, sometimes with her court. - 03
Candle lighting
Candles lit by people important to her, each with a short tribute. - 04
Family dance
A dance with a parent, or with the whole family. - 05
Toasts and cake
Speeches, then the cake cutting. - 06
Dance floor
Her friends take over the night.

A daytime conference or an evening gala
Daytime conference
Sessions run back to back, often in one room with stage lighting and screens.
- Speakers photographed during their key slides
- Breakouts and the exhibitor floor between sessions
- Quiet movement so we do not distract the audience
Evening gala
Lower light, more movement and guests dressed for the night.
- Arrivals and a step-and-repeat if you have one
- Awards, auctions and toasts on stage
- Candid tables and the dance floor
What to send us before a corporate event
- Your run of show, with room names
- A VIP list, with a photo of each person if possible
- Sponsors and the signage they expect to see
- Brand guidelines, if your team has them
- Venue contact, load-in time and security check-in
- When you need the first images, and how many
- Where the photos will be used

Your guests should notice the event, not the photographer
We move quietly, work from your schedule and stay out of the sightlines.
