Wedding Videographer in New Jersey
Wedding films across New Jersey, from Central Jersey banquet halls and Morris County country clubs to skyline venues on the Hudson waterfront.
New Jersey weddings range from three-day Indian celebrations in Central Jersey banquet halls to country club weddings in Morris County and skyline receptions in Jersey City. As a wedding videographer in NJ, we film all of them, and we plan each film around the venue, the families and the pace of your day.
Central Jersey: big rooms, big energy
The banquet halls and hotels around Edison, Iselin, Somerset and New Brunswick are built for large weddings, and they make for high-energy films. Stage lighting, smoke effects, choreographed family performances at the Sangeet and dance floors packed until late all need a different approach from a quiet ceremony. We film the performances from more than one angle where coverage allows, and record sound from the DJ’s system when they permit it, so the music and speeches sit cleanly in the edit. See Edison and Central Jersey.
North Jersey: estates and country clubs
In Bergen, Passaic, Essex and Morris counties, many weddings take place at grand estates, castle-style venues, historic hotels and country clubs. These suit a slower, more cinematic film: a long staircase, a garden ceremony with the afternoon sun behind you, a ballroom lit by chandeliers. We plan the ceremony and portrait timing around the light and the grounds. See Morristown.
The Hudson waterfront
Jersey City, Hoboken and Weehawken look straight across the river at Manhattan. Films here make the most of golden light on the skyline and then the city lights at blue hour. Wind off the river is the main challenge for sound, so we place microphones carefully for outdoor vows. See Jersey City.
Indian and South Indian weddings on film
A large share of New Jersey weddings are Indian, South Asian or fusion, and many span several days. We film multi-day weddings that blend Indian and American events, and shape the edit so the Haldi, the Mehndi, the Garba or Sangeet, the Baraat, the ceremony and the reception each have their own feel. For South Indian ceremonies, an early Muhurtham sets the timeline, and moments like the Kashi Yatra, the Oonjal, Jeelakarra Bellam, Talambralu and the Thaali tying are filmed with the priest’s chants recorded clearly. See Indian wedding videography and South Indian wedding photography in New Jersey.
Sound you can hear
Vows, mantras, readings and speeches are what families rewatch most. We use small microphones and separate recorders for the key moments and check levels before the ceremony starts. In loud halls, a clean feed from the sound system makes the difference between a speech you can hear and one lost to the room.
Aerial shots
Where FAA rules, local regulations and your venue allow it, a short drone sequence over an estate or along the waterfront can open your film. Airspace near Newark and the New York airports is controlled, so we plan aerial footage case by case. See drone photography and videography.
Travel and your film
We travel from our New York studio across Staten Island or the George Washington Bridge, and stay nearby for early starts and multi-day weekends. Most couples choose a highlight film plus longer ceremony and speech edits, and packages can be customized with extra hours and photography from the same team. Watch our films, read about wedding videography, see the New Jersey page, and contact us.
Moments New Jersey families ask us not to miss
The Milni embraces
When the elders of both families greet each other, the hugs and garlands happen fast. We stay near the front of the Baraat to film them.
Grandparents at the table
Elders often watch the Sangeet from their seats. A few seconds of their faces during a performance can say more than the dance itself.
The first sight of each other
At the Jaimala, the couple often see each other dressed for the first time that day. We film both faces, not just the garlands.
The last dance circle
Late in the night, the dance floor closes into a circle around the couple. We keep a camera rolling until the music stops.

From skyline views to estate lakes, New Jersey gives a wedding film variety. Some of these places ask for a permit or a fee for professional sessions; we check the current rules before we book a time.

Help us film your Sangeet performances
- A running order of every performance
- The song for each one, sent to the DJ and to us
- Who is performing, and from which side of the family
- Where each group enters the floor
- Any props, costume changes or surprises
- Whether the couple is performing too
- Lighting or smoke cues planned with the venue
- A rehearsal video, if you have one

Filming your grand entrance
Many New Jersey receptions open with the couple’s entrance: the lights drop, the music changes and the doors open. It happens once and it is over quickly.
We ask your DJ or MC for the cue, agree where you will stop on the floor, and set up before the doors open, so the entrance is filmed from the front rather than from behind the crowd.
